See the WELS Lutherans for Life 2023 Impact Report

The third Sunday of January is National Sanctity of Human Life Day.

The Dobbs reversal of Roe V. Wade is celebrated by pro-life supporters and angers pro-abortion supporters, but the fight persists as access to abortion continues and abortion pills are delivered through the mail. Even without legal abortions, unintended pregnancies and the consequences of abortions will still occur. The author encourages assisting women who choose life by offering practical resources such as ultrasounds, parenting classes, and material support. Love in action is essential, and individuals should aid families.

It's the eternal dilemma...what to get for Mom on Mother's Day. Here Rachel offers some suggestions.

Izzy was one of a couple dozen students in the 7th grade class. She didn’t participate too much during the first day. Izzy was a little suspicious and a bit uncomfortable because they were going to be talking about some “adult” type topics....

Teens today have tough questions and tough situations. Rachel Greiner speaks to them at schools all over with our Healthy Choices program. Despite how it may feel, students DO open up sometimes to adults they trust. Here's an exchange Rachel had with a teen.
