• Know what the programs you support are accomplishing.
• Know that WELS Lutherans for Life complies with federal, state, and municipal laws.
• A timely and courteous response to your inquiries about finances and programs.
• Visit the office and program sites of WELS Lutherans for Life and to talk personally with the staff.
• Give cheerfully without being pressured by WELS Lutherans for Life.
• Obtain a copy of WELS Lutherans for Life’s most recent audited financial statements.
• Know there is a responsible governing board providing oversight to WELS Lutherans for Life.

1. Where do you get your funding? 
We are mainly supported by individual donations. Some funding comes from churches and businesses. Occasionally we will be awarded grant monies from charitable foundations. 

2. How are contributions and financial gifts spent?
Your financial investments and all contributions are used locally. Every dollar given is used to finance the ministry of WELS Lutherans for Life and APS Medical to save lives and transform families. 

3. Does WELS Lutherans for Life accept funding through United Way? 
Yes, we do. Our organization decided to offer a Christian, pro‐life option to anyone who feels workplace pressure of United Way giving.

4. Can WELS Lutherans for Life accept stocks, bonds, or any other securities giving? 
Yes, we can accept publicly-traded securities and other non-cash assets. Learn more about these gifts here.
