Vision

To be the first choice for women considering abortion in Greater Milwaukee by providing real help and real hope. 

WELS Lutherans for Life operates APS Medical, a Christian pregnancy medical clinic that serves hundreds of women, babies, and their families every year in the greater Milwaukee area. APS Medical aims to help a child’s right to live and be loved by loving moms and dads. We intervene for babies and their mothers, empower decisions for life, restore grief-filled lives to grace-filled life after abortion, and develop youth.

APS Medical is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental place for individuals to sort through the hard decisions surrounding unplanned pregnancies and lifestyle choices.

We understand the way we can most respect each client is to equip them to make their own informed decision and to assure them they’re not walking this hard path alone.

We believe every life has a purpose and deserves a chance. Through education, prevention, emotional support, spiritual care, and practical assistance, we empower women and men to make informed, confident decisions—knowing they are not alone.

As a Christian outreach ministry, we share the love and truth of Jesus Christ through both word and action. Our team—board members, staff, and volunteers—serve with honesty, respect, and care.

We are committed to:

• Providing accurate and complete information about pregnancy and abortion.
• Offering judgement-free emotional, spiritual, and practical support to help women make an informed decision about the life of her baby.
• Ensuring all services are free, confidential, and available to all without discrimination.
• Promoting community awareness of the needs of pregnant women and the effects of abortion.
• Maintaining integrity in all communication. We never use deception in advertising or client interactions.
• Supporting adoption as a life-affirming option while remaining unbiased toward any particular outcome.

We do not provide, recommend, or refer for abortions.

Statement of Faith

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,     
    maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
    who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
    born of the virgin Mary,
    suffered under Pontius Pilate,
    was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
    and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
    the holy Christian Church,
        the communion of saints,
    the forgiveness of sins,
    the resurrection of the body,
    and the life everlasting. Amen

WELS Lutherans for Life, Metro-Milwaukee is an IRS Section 501(c)3 public charity, non-profit, tax exempt organization.  Tax ID # 39-1436085. We are 100% donor funded and all contributions are used locally to finance WELS Lutherans for Life’s ministry of saving lives and transforming families. While we are affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, we do not receive any funding from them. Although we were affiliated with Christian Life Resources at one time, we are no longer.
